Common questions

An identification looks wrong

Vidi proposes a find — you're always in charge. You can deny the proposal and retry the photo, or use a hint to nudge the search. Clearer, closer, well-lit photos identify best.

Camera, photo, or location permissions

Vidi needs camera access to capture subjects. Location is optional and only used to note where a find was made. You can change these any time in iOS Settings → Vidi.

Groups

You can be in one group at a time, joined by a one-time invite. Leaving a group is always your choice and asks for confirmation first.
